Members - Overview

Many leading financial institutions, both international and regional, are market participants on NASDAQ Dubai.

Among these, {ds_RowCount} have been admitted as Members. These institutions can trade and/or provide securities clearing services on the exchange.

NASDAQ Dubai caters for a liquid environment. Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, NBD Investment Bank and SHUAA Capital are the current market makers. The exchange is in discussion with other Members that are also interested in market making.

Authorised & recognized members

Only institutions can become NASDAQ Dubai Trading Members.

For an institution to join it must take one of two routes:

Authorisation
Recognition

Authorization is for institutions that apply to the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) to become authorized entities in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).

Recognition is for institutions that are regulated by a DIFC-approved regulator outside the DIFC, for example the FSA in the UK.
