Nasdaq Dubai celebrates Integrated Securities being the most active broker on its equity futures market

  • Company’s market share has increased to 63% of traded value in last three months

Dubai, UAE; November 26, 2018 – Integrated Securities, SHUAA Capital psc.’s securities brokerage arm, and one of the UAE’s most prominent institutions, has today been recognised by Nasdaq Dubai as its most active equity futures broker in 2018.

Integrated Securities has been the market’s leading futures broker by both traded value and volume so far this year, with a 32.5% and 44.5% share respectively, excluding market makers. For the latest three-month period from August to October, its share has increased to 63% of value and 79% of volume.

A bell-ringing ceremony was held earlier today at Nasdaq Dubai’s new headquarters, where Mustafa Kheriba, Chairman of Integrated Securities, rang the market-opening bell to celebrate the firm’s market leadership.

Nasdaq Dubai’s derivatives market enables investors to make gains whether share prices are rising or falling, make use of leverage, and protect their existing equity positions through hedging.

Nasdaq Dubai’s equity derivatives market opened in 2016 and currently comprises contracts of one, two and three months on single stock futures on 17 leading UAE-listed companies including DP World, Emaar Properties and First Abu Dhabi Bank. Futures on Dubai Financial Market’s DFMGI index and Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s ADI index are also traded on the market.
