FTSE NASDAQ Dubai UAE 20 index

The FTSE NASDAQ Dubai UAE 20 index comprises 20 stocks listed on NASDAQ Dubai, the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) and the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX).

Futures based on the index are listed on NASDAQ Dubai and are designed to provide a hedging and investment mechanism for GCC and international investors.  The index has a high correlation with UAE and wider Middle East markets. Its 20 constituents are selected for openness to international investors and high liquidity. They are free float weighted and include some of the GCC’s largest companies such as global ports operator DP World on NASDAQ Dubai; Emaar, one of the world’s largest property companies, on the DFM; and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank on the ADX.

The index is one of a series of regional indices created jointly by NASDAQ Dubai and FTSE, the global index provider, for the creation of derivatives as well as exchange-traded funds and other financial products.
